Jason Arundell is a professional fine art photographer based in Melbourne Australia. His works are enchanting, beckoning you closer, coaxing you to stay in a dreamy ethereal place. His subjects, animal or human, are often self-contained, delicate yet strong. In an era that exalts modern photography his classical aesthetic is unashamedly tender and beguiling.

In November 2013 he received the endorsement and recognition of the most respected names in Photography achieving the coveted 'Honor of Distinction' in the 8th Annual Black and White Spider Awards. While "Stag" was a highly praised 2013 Winner in the Nature category a further four of his photographs achieved nominations in their respective categories, Fine Art, Wildlife, Silhouette and Architecture.

The judging panel:
The Tate Gallery London, National Geographic, FotoMuseum of Antwerp, FTM Advisory London, Camera Work Gallery Berlin, Fu Xin Gallery Shanghai, Art Stage Singapore, Vanguard Gallery Shanghai, V1 Gallery Copenhagen, Hilario Galguera Gallery, Strother Fine Art Frankfurt, Galerie Baudoin Lebon Paris, Fratelli Alinari Photography Museum FlorenceĀ amongst others

In 2012, under invitation, he joined an elite group of International Photographers to accept a highly regarded fine art photography award in France. As the only Australian Finalist in the 2012 Grand Prix de la Decouverte International Fine Art Photography Awards in Paris his work now resides in the prestigious collection of the Bibliotheque Nationale de France for all time.

In his early career he was awarded the title of Associate with the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) for receiving a multitude of AIPP Awards over consecutive years.
